Mark Samuel Rubinstein
About Mark S. Rubinstein
Attorney Mark S. Rubinstein has been practicing law for more than 30 years, including 25 years in Colorado. He founded Mark S. Rubinstein, P.C., in Carbondale after working for law firms in Denver and earlier in his career in San Diego. He focuses his practice in the areas of criminal defense and personal injury representation, and he is well known throughout western Colorado as an effective and unwavering advocate for his clients.
Mark S. Rubinstein’s greatest strengths as an attorney are his deep knowledge of the law, his compassion for his clients, and his understanding of how their legal circumstances impact their lives. He takes pride in being approachable, and he is committed to taking the time to listen to his clients and understand their personal needs. Mark focuses on representing clients in criminal and personal injury matters because these are the areas in which he believes he can help his clients the most, and he has developed an extensive track record in both areas over his more than three decades in legal practice.
About Mark’s Criminal Defense Practice
On the criminal defense side, Mark represents adults and minors charged with all varieties of offenses, from drug offenses, crimes of violence, embezzlement, to DUI’s, traffic offenses and other municipal court matters. He has experience handling a broad range of cases, and he has secured favorable results for his clients at every stage of the criminal justice process. Mark believes strongly in ensuring that all defendants have access to the full protections afforded under the U.S. Constitution and Colorado law, and he works tirelessly to protect his clients against the potentially life-altering consequences of having a criminal record in Colorado.
About Mark’s Personal Injury Practice
In his personal injury practice, Mark represents individuals and families who have suffered severe traumatic injuries and who have lost loved ones due to others’ negligence. He also has significant experience in cases involving defective products. While much of his personal injury practice is devoted to handling auto accident bodily injury insurance claims, Mark regularly represents clients in premises liability and other serious accident cases resulting in bodily injuries as well.
About Mark’s Personal Interests
When he is not negotiating with the insurance companies or advocating for his clients in court, Mark enjoys taking advantage of all that Colorado and the rest of the Western United States have to offer. He is an avid skier, cyclist, and sailor, and he enjoys hiking and camping in the Rocky Mountains and other locations across the United States and around the world.
About Mark’s Family
Mark also enjoys spending as much time as possible with his family, and most of his outdoor trips involve his family. He, his wife, their two children, and their two golden retrievers travel together whenever possible, putting countless miles on their Airstream travel trailer. They have also taken several family trips to Europe and plan to continue to travel as a family in the future.
